The St. Louis Spector Club Comic Book Show - 7/20/08
Apparently nice sunny days in the middle of July don't make for great comic book shows. We managed to prove that just this last Sunday at the American Legion Post #111 as the show did not have a very large crowd. I would wager that many of the dealers did not sell very well unless they were offering large discounts. There just weren't enough people there spending for anyone to have made any real money.
I'm glad that I didn't setup a table myself, and rather went to chat with everyone and purchase some stuff for myself. I did manage to find a fair amount of issues that I needed, and some that were just so cheap I couldn't pass them up. Thanks to all the dealers that I did business with. Enough about me though, here's the pics from the show.

Last, and most certainly least, here I am with some of the day's plunder: a stack of late 70's Marvel Direct Editions...

As always I had a great time at the show. Thanks to everyone who attended, dealers and customers. I hope to see you and everyone else at the next St. Louis Spector Club Comic Show, September 14.
