We've had an outage in the last week that I'm sure all of you noticed.  We've been trying to do a big upgrade from the old phpBB 2.x to the new phpBB 3.x.  This new version shold alleviate any problems that you might have had posting here anytime recently.  Unfortunately, getting the update to go through has been far more trouble than we had planned because of issues with our hosting provider and their servers.  

The forum is now again open for the meantime.  We will again be shutting it down sometime soon in order to try the update again.  I'll try and give a little more notice this time knowing that things may not work out.  I should have known better this last time that nothing is ever easy, but hey, live and learn, eh?  Thanks for your patience, and hope you'll stick with us during these upgrades.

THANKS!]]> D'OH! tag:stlcomics.com,2008:/blogstl//3.276 2008-10-30T03:13:44Z 2008-10-30T03:19:32Z James Jobe http://stlcomics.com I didn't make it to the St. Louis Spector Club Comic Show about a week and a half ago.  I was in bed with a nasty cold watching football.  Actually, I think I slept through more football than I actually watched, but did not make it in to visit the rest of the local comic geeks nonetheless.  I'm afraid that means that I also have no pics this time around, or even anything to say about it.  If any of you out there who did attend would like to donate some pictures or have anything to say about the show, I'd be happy to post whatever you have. 

With any luck, I'll avoid the sick people, and stay well enough to make it to the next show on November 23.  Hope to see you there!
