I actually wrote a bunch of stuff and saved it. Tried to preview it, but that did not work. So I saved it like normal and it disappeared. Now I am just going to post the auction:
ebay.com/SCOOBY-DOO-1-CGC-8-5-RAREST-35-CENT-VARIANT
hope it works. I will get the people in the cyber division of the helicarrier to check it out. until then, good luck hunting --ShieldAgent
Wowsa! Just like the title says.
A Captain America 212 35 cent variant that is missing the words "Marvel Comics Group" has shown up on Comiclink along with a slew of new graded 35 cent variants. It is a CGC Graded 4.5 with off white to white pages. The label also sports the following two comments: MANUFACTURING ERROR - Manufactured without "Marvel Comics Group" printed at top of cover. This book comes with a hefty price tag though, listed at $2000. Regardless of the sellers comments, this is for sure the third known copy, and possibly the fourth. After my blog regarding variant variants, I was contacted by a person who was looking at purchasing a copy. This may be the copy, or could be the fourth known.

One thing for sure, this book is a rarity that would be prized by more than just 35 cent variant completionists.
STLComics has had this book on our site since shortly after the 35 cent gallery was created. You can check it out here: http://stlcomics.com/gallery/35cent/ Our very own Cosmic-Spider-Man was the first to identify and aquire this anomoly for his complete run of 35 cent variants. It was he who brought it to our attention. I was surprised to find a copy on ebay shortly thereafter in an open Variant listing, and was fortunate enough to secure a copy for myself. Knowing that this book is not a "one and only" it is now a must for anyone trying to complete the entire run of 35 cent variants.
As usual, if you like variants, especially ones of the 35 cent variety, please check us out here: http://forum.stlcomics.com/viewtopic.php?t=3127 and talk to us.

We recently received an e-mail from a disgruntled ebayer who apparently did not appreciate our comments about his/her variant purchase on ebay. I'd like to take this opportunity to make sure that person and everyone else understands how we intend on doing things here.
Ebay is a public auction site. Any information published there is information we feel free to not only comment on, but also track for research purposes and report said findings here on our site. This won't change no matter what someone thinks of our commentary. The person in question had obviously failed to do any kind of research on the book for which they paid a ridiculously large amount. Anyone with a personal computer and internet access can come here to our site, and see what prices have been paid in the past for the 30 and 35 cent variants they are buying. It certainly isn't our fault when someone is either too lazy or too stupid to actually research their possible purchases. We shall always feel free to call them out it once they have made a bad decision.
Anyone that doesn't like having us talk about them should either only make purchases in private where we have no access to them or they can pretty much STFU.
